Museum of New Zealand

Robotechnology designed and manufactured seven 'high tech' interactive simulators for the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa.

The simulator concepts are derived from New Zealand's cultural background, such as sheep shearing, other rides focus on extreme sports such as bungy jumping and water-skiing. These interactives are now undergoing evaluation as ongoing packages for export.

Specific barcodes are used to show shearing pattern and record progress. A barcode reader is used to shear the Virtual Sheep in the New Zealand Wool Board Shearing Pattern, missed codes result in cuts and loss of points.
